Fundraiser Set Up By Cork Parents Close To Hitting €500,000 Since Late Late Show Appearance

An online fundraising campaign set up by two Cork parents in memory of their daughter has raised almost €500,000 just ten days after it was launched.

The fundraiser was set up by Billy Holland and Lanlih Keane whose six month old daughter Emmeline died in May 2019 after she was diagnosed with a heart defect.

Munster rugby player Billy and his wife Lanlih's appearance on Friday's Late Late Show promted a huge response, with almost 14,000 people donating over €493,000.

The money will be split between the children's ward at CUH, Crumlin Children's Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House.
