Funeral of Frankie Dunne whose body was found in derelict house in Cork to take place today

Frankie Dunne, whose body was found at a derelict house on the Boreenmanna Road over Christmas, will be laid to rest today.

The father of three, who was originally from Churchfield, has been described by his family as "one of a kind" and "one of the funniest people to know".

The 64 year old's requiem mass will be held at 11am at St Mary's on the Hill Church, Knocknaheeny followed by burial at St Michael's cemetery Blackrock

His partially dismembered body was discovered on the evening of December 28th last on the grounds of Castlegreina House

Gardai are anxious to speak to an Eastern European man who they believe may be able to assist them in their investigation into the murder

Local councillor Kenneth O'Flynn is calling for the Garda Commissioner and the Justice Minister to visit the area as a priority:
