Future use of Tivoli site under consideration as container operations to be transferred to Ringaskiddy by mid 2020

Management at the Port of Cork say they're currently exploring all options for future use of the Tivoli site where all container operations in Cork are carried out.
By mid 2020 the landbank will no longer be used for container operations as this facility will be transferred to Ringaskiddy which has deeper water and can cater for larger ships.
It's part of the new €80 million container terminal development in Ringaskiddy which was officially launched today.
