Gaelscoil An Ghoirt Álainn In Montenotte Has Officially Opened Its First Bricks And Mortar School Building

It comes after 20 years in prefab classrooms
The school, which was founded in 1993, had spent over 2 decades in the overflow car park of Brian Dillon's GAA club.
This morning students and staff of Gaelscoil an Ghoirt Álainn moved into their brand new school building, to mark their return from midterm break.
The original plans for the building were developed in 2002.
However a number of set-backs, in particular the site of a 2-acre green space, delayed the project for 18 years.
