Garda watchdog slammed over Cork case
Frontline gardaí have lost confidence in their watchdog’s ability to run fair and impartial internal investigations - according to a senior member of the Garda Representative Association. It comes as gardai are angry at comments by the Ombudsman Commission after two Cork based gardaí were cleared of wrongdoing when they used pepper spray to subdue a youth.
