Gardai Admit New Roadside Drug Testing Law Is Still Not Being Enforced In Cork

It's emerged that Gardai in Cork will have to wait until next month before they'll be trained

It's emerged that Gardai in Cork will have to wait until next month before they'll be trained on how to conduct roadside drug testing.

Last month RedFM News revealed how members of the Garda Representative Association in Cork have not been trained in how to use the new drug driving tests or how to implement the new law despite it coming into affect in the middle of April.

The GRA has confirmed that no-one in the Cork Divison has been trained on the new equipment as yet despite the matter being raised in the Dail with the Justice Minister.

Speaking to RedFM News Cork GRA representative Ian Lester says the new law is not being enforced in Cork as yet as their members have not been trained
