Gardai appeal for information on synthetic drug use Leeside

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with any information on the use of synthetic drugs in Cork to come forward.

It follows the recent death of a teenager in Cork city which is being linked to a designer drug known as U-4. 

Concern has been expressed about the availability of synthetic drugs on Cork streets as far back as 2015 after Milstreet teeanger Alex Ryan died after consuming a drug known as N-Bomb at a house party in the city in 2015.

Speaking to RedFM News Detective Inspector Declan O'Sullivan of Angelsea St Garda station says the contents of synthetic drugs pose significant risks and they're doing everything they can to tackle the problem:
