Gardai appeal for public not to share video of Carrigaline stabbing
Gardai are appealing to people not to share video footage of an attack on a 17 year old in Cork at the weekend.
A 17 year old was beaten and stabbed at Waterpark in Carrigaline just before half past ten on Saturday night.
He was released from hospital last night after being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Gardai say the attack was recorded and shared widely on social media.
Both the attack and the recording of it are now being investigated.
Another teen - also 17 was later arrested and is still being questioned.
Gardai are renewing their appeal for witnesses.
