Gardai Appeal For Witnesses Of Fatal Crash On Mallow To Killarney Road

Mallow Gardai investigating a fatal road crash on Saturday evening which claimed the life of a 20 year old man have issued a fresh appeal for witnesses
The victim, John O'Connor from Lismire near Newmarket who was a talented jockey, was killed when his car collided with a bus on the Mallow to Killarney road.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem is due to be conducted later today
The driver of the bus was also removed to CUH for medical treatment but his injuries have been described as not serious.
The three passengers on the bus at the time of the collision were uninjured.
