Gardai appealing for witness after shots were fired in Mahon

Gardai are appealing for witnesses after shots were fired at a house in Mahon on St Patrick's Day.
Members of the Armed Support Unit and the Southern Region Dog Unit searched the Avenue De Rennes area after the shots were reported at around 11:45pm.
No one was injured in the incident
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the Lakelands Avenue, Lakelands Cresent, Loughmahon, Ringmahon Kinsale Road Roundabout and Tory Top Road area between 11pm and 12:30am to contact Blackrock Garda Station on 021 453 66 90.
Gardaí are also investigating shots being fired at a house in the Ard Bhaile area of Mayfield on Monday, however they do not believe the two incidents are connected.
