Gardaí Are Appealing For Information After The Murder Of A Man In Cork City On Saturday Night

53-year-old Timmy Hourihane was found injured and unconscious
He was found near a tent which had been set on fire at Mardyke Walk.
Gardai say he may have been the victim of more than one assault and more than one person may have been involved in the final fatal assault which killed him.
He was taken to Cork University Hospital, but died shortly afterwards.
Timmy Hourihane was a former chef and a father of one from the Sheep's Head Peninsula near Bantry in West Cork.
