Gardaí Are Investigating A Serious Assault That Occurred In Blackpool Last Night

At around 8.30 Gardai intervened in a row between three men on Great William O’Brien Street
Two were armed with a baseball bat and hammer. A man in his 30s was injured in the incident and taken to Cork University Hospital with apparent head injuries. His condition is not thought to be life threatening.
The two men were arrested and taken to Mayfield Garda Station. They've since been released without charge.
