Gardai Called To Halting Site In Cork Following Reports Of Shots Fired

A Traveller Visibility Group is engaged in conflict resolution at a halting site in Cork.

The Irish Examiner reports that member of the Garda armed Regional Support Unit were called to Spring Lane halting site on the Northside of the city yesterday after shots were fired. 

It's understood tension flared up after a man accused of dismembering another man's finger in a machete attack in the halting site in 2016 was cleared of the charge at Cork Circuit Criminal Court yesterday.
