Gardaí Have Sealed Off An Area In Ballyvolane Following An Incident Last Night

Shots were reportedly fired at a man.
It's reported a man in his 40's was walking a dog in the Chapel Gate area around 10:30pm when a man behind him fired a number of shots from what's understood to be a handgun.
Garda Press have confirmed to RedFM News that Gardaí are investigating reports of shots being discharged and say no one was injured in the incident.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM, Paul Byrne from Virgin Media News says Gardaí will be investigating all possible motives:
