Gardaí Have Seized €2,120 Worth Of Suspected Heroin, Diazepam, And Cannabis Herb

It follows several searches in Cork City
Shortly before 10pm on Thursday night, Gardaí stopped and searched a man, aged in his 20s, on Shandon Street.
The man was found to be in possession of approximately 350 suspected diazepam tablets valued at around €700.
Meanwhile, a woman in her 30s was brought to Bridewell Garda Station and was found to be in possession of a weighting scales and €700 of suspected diazepam and heroin.
A man aged in his 30s on Exchange Street was found to have €600 of suspected heroin.
While a man in his 20s on Church Street was searched and Gardai seized €120 of suspected cannabis herb.
All of the suspected drugs will now be sent for analysis and files will be prepared for the DPP.
