Gardai In Cork Are Continuing Their Investigation After A Device Was Found In The Garden Of A Home

It was found on the north side of the City yesterday afternoon
The alarm was raised around 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at a house on Kilmore Road in Knocknaheeny.
The Army Bomb Disposal Unit and members of An Garda Siochana were called to the scene and the road was sealed off.
The device was made safe at the scene, and was then transported to Collin's Barracks for further examination.
There were no injuries in relation to the incident, however Gardai are continuing to investigate and are appealing for witnesses to contact Gurranabraher Garda Station on (021) 494 6200.
