Gardai In Cork Are Continuing Their Investigation After €20,000 Worth Of Cannabis Was Seized

The drugs were seized at a checkpoint in Mallow
Members of the Mallow District Drugs Unit and the Detective Unit carried out the seizure shortly after 11pm on Friday night.
Gardai stopped a car which had travelled from Limerick and found a bag containing the cannabis herb.
A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene and brought to Mallow Garda Station, however he has since been released without charge, and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
