Gardai In Cork Carry Out Two Drug Seizures Over Weekend

Suspected cannabis was recovered in both opertations
Drugs with an estimated street value of 5,900 euro have been seized following a search at a house in Kanturk yesterday morning.
At around 8am yesterday morning, Gardai in Mallow recovered 5 cannabis plants worth an estimated €4000 and cannabis herb worth an estimated €1900.
Both will now be sent for analysis.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
In a separate incident, Gardaí in Cobh arrested 2 men in their 30s and seized €9000 worth of suspected cannabis plants following a search at a house in Midleton on Saturday.
Both men were detained at Cobh Garda Station and have since been released without charge.
A file will be prepared for the DPP.
