Gardai In Cork Have Launched A Murder Investigation Following The Death Of A Toddler
She lost her fight for life at Cork University Hospital yesterday morning
The post mortem of the 2 year-old girl has been completed by Deputy State Pathologist Dr. Margot Bolster.
However, the results will not be released for operational reasons.
The apartment in the City Centre will remain sealed off over the weekend as Garda continue to investigate.
The girl was found seriously injured at the Elderwood Park complex on the Boreenmanna Road at approximately 5.20am yesterday morning.
Ian Begley of the Irish Independent says as part of their investigation, Gardai are asking anyone with information to come forward:
