Gardai Investigate Cork Stabbing
Gardai in Cork are investigating a stabbing in the city overnight. A 27 year old man was stabbed 4 times in the incident which occured at around 2.30am this morning. The incident occurred on the corner of Maylor Street and Patrick's Street. The victim received stab wounds to the neck, back, chest and shoulder. He's been taken to CUH - his injuries are not life threatening and he will make a full recovery. One suspect was arrested at the scene - he's been take to the Bridewell garda station for questioning. The altercation started on McCurtain street and ended up on Patrick's Street. Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the attack to contact Anglesea street.
