Gardai Issue New Road Safety Message
Nearly a quarter of all fatal road traffic accidents this year have happened on a Friday. It comes as road users are being urged to take care on the road, and to turn "Fatal Friday" into "Safe Friday." The time of day between 2pm and 6pm on a Friday has proven to be the most dangerous on the roads. Gardai are stressing that they would like the public to work with them, but also that enforcement of the rules of the road is on the increase.
