Gardai have issued a warning to the public about a conman who is preying on elderly people living alone in Cork and stealing sums of cash
The man who's been described as a "highly plausible conman" is pretending to be a plainclothes detective and is targeting vulnerable elderly people usually living in remote and isolated rural areas..
