Gardai launch investigation into robbery on the northside of the city
The robbery occurred at a home in the Glen shortly before 11 o'clock last night.
Lisa Murphy the home owner says the house was locked before she left, but had returned home to find the lights on, a window was broken and her dog was locked into the kitchen.
It's reported a sum of cash was stolen along with her mother's jewlry.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM, Lisa Murphy says she is traumatised.
