Gardai Prepare File For The DPP
Gardai are to prepare a file for the DPP after last night releasing without charge a 28 year old Polish man arrested in connection with a drug seizure in Blarney, believed to be worth 48,000 euro. Officers recovered some 58 mature cannabis plants at a house in the Station Road area of the village, which they believed were destined for sale in the Cork market. The 28 year old Pole was arrested at around midday yesterday and was questioned at Gurranabraher garda station. But he was released at 6pm yesterday and gardai will now prepare a file on the matter for the DPP.
