Gardai Probe Robberies in Cork

Gardai investigating a series of break-ins in West Cork have begun checking CCTV from toll booths on the Cork Dublin Road to try and identify the culprits. Gardai believe a Dublin based gang was behind the spate of break-ins including a robbery from an elderly brother and sister near Kinsale on Tuesday afternoon. Gardai believe the three man gang were driving a silver Volvo and they have begun examining CCTV footage at toll booths are Watergrasshill and Mountrath. A 79 year old brother and his 76 year old sister living near Kinsale were among the victims of the gang who also ransacked houses in Kilcoe, Aughadown, Skibbereen and Enniskeane.
