Gardaí Release Man Without Charge Following Drugs Seizure In Cork City

Gardai are to prepare a file for the DPP after last night releasing without charge a man in his 30s arrested for questioning about a €30,000 drugs seizure in the city on Monday night.
Officers from the Cork City Divisional Drugs Squad arrested the man after they found €25,000 worth of cocaine and €5,000 worth of heroin during the search of a house in the Model Farm Road area.
The man was arrested and brought to Togher Garda Station for questioning where he was detained overnight as detectives quizzed him about the drugs stash they believe was destined for the Christmas market.
The man was released without charge last night and gardai will now prepare a file for the DPP.
