Gardaí Remove Vera Twomey From Dáil Sit Down Protest
A Cork Mum's sit down protest disrupted TD's exiting the Dail last night.
Garda were called to Kildare street as Vera Twomey's demonstration at the gates of Leinster House prevented TD's from leaving at close of business.
The Aghabullog Mum has been calling for medicinal cannabis legislation as her daughter Ava has a rare form of epilepsy and requires the cannabis to ease the severity of her seizures.
The protest was forcibly removed after three hours.
