Gardai reviewing information from drink driving checkpoints

Gardai have confirmed they're reviewing information they've been receiving from drink driving checkpoints.

It follows a report in today's Irish Times that a difference was found between the number of breath tests being recorded on the Pulse system, and the number of single-use mouthpieces being ordered for the operations.

A statement from Gardai says drink driving checkpoint figures won't be updated on their website until the review has been completed.
