Gardaí Say They Are Close To Completing Investigation Into Murder Of 2-Year-Old Santina Cawley
Senior Gardaí say they are close to completing their investigation into the murder of two year Santina Cawley.
The Echo reports that Gardai are not looking for anyone else in relation to the investigation and are now preparing a file for the DPP.
The toddler was found in a critical condition in an apartment at the Elderwood complex on the Boreenmanna Road in the early hours of the 5th of July.
She was rushed to Cork University Hospital, however she was pronounced dead later that morning.
A woman in her 30s was arrested in connection with the investigation and released without charge a day later.
