Gardaí Say They Will Be Taking A Zero Tolerance Approach Towards Anyone Causing Trouble During Raise And Give Week
Annual events like Freshers and Raise and Give Week have been heavily criticised by some locals

Extra Garda patrols backed up by the Drug and Road Policing Units will be in place all week, with Gardaí warning they will be operating a pro-arrest policy
Speaking to RedFM News, Sergeant Michael O'Connell from the Community Policing Unit at Anglesea Street says the consequences for coming to the attention of the Gardaí can be very severe:
