Gardaí seize €14,000 worth of suspected Xanax tablets in Watergrasshill
Officers from the City Divisional Drugs Unit and the Fermoy District Drugs Unit carried out a search of a house in the village yesterday at 3pm.
The search was carried out as part of an investigation targeting the activities of people involved in the sale and supply of prescription medications in the city and county.
Gardaí seized around 7,000 tablets and the drugs will now be sent for analysis.
No arrests have been made but Gardaí say they are following a definite line of enquiry.
