Gardaí Speak To A Number Of Individuals In Cork On Suspicion Of Purchasing Sexual Services
A number of files are being prepared for the DPP with a view to establishing if any criminal charges should be brought following the operation.
38 people including individuals in the City were stopped and spoken to by Gardaí.
The intelligence led 'Days of Action' operation, which was mounted in co-ordination with the Garda National Protective Services Bureau, took place across 9 Garda Divisions last week.
It's the second national operation targeting the demand for prostitution in 2019 and Gardaí say further operations are planned.
