Gardaí To Prepare A File For The Coroner's Court After Death of 53 Year Old Man On The Streets Of Cork

The man was found unresponsive in the doorway of a building on Wandesford Quay Sunday morning.

Two homeless women died within three months of each other on the city's streets at the end of last year - in September Jennifer Dennehy was found dead in a tent at Gilabbey Park, and Kathleen O'Sullivan was found dead outside the homeless shelter on Anderson’s Quay last December.

At the start of this month, a man in his 50's was found dead off the Old Blackrock Road  and Gardaí found some drug-taking paraphernalia nearby leading to the belief he may have died from a drugs overdose.
