Gardaí To Prepare File For DPP Following Arrest Of Man In Connection to Murder Of Mikolaj Wilk

Gardai are to prepare a file for the DPP after a 35 year old man arrested in connection with the murder of Mikolaj Wilk was released without charge.
The man who is from Knocknaheeny and had recently returned from the UK was arrested at a house in Mayfield at around 6:30am Wednesday.
A garda spokesman said they will also prepare a file on the involvement of a 29 year old Latvian man and a 33 year old Irish woman who were arrested last week and also released without charge.
The latest arrests bring to 6 the number of people detained in relation to the investigation following the release of two Polish men and a Latvian national in January pending files to the DPP
Mikolaj Wilk was brutally murdered by a machette wielding gang at his home in Maglin near Ballincollig on June 10th last.
