Gardaí Warn Of Crack Down On Phone Use While Driving This Weekend
Gardai are warning people they're cracking down on motorists using phones while driving this weekend.
There's been a 24 per cent increase in the number of people found on the phone while driving.
80,000 penalty points notices have been issued so far this year for phone usage.
Assistant Commissioner at the National Roads Policing Bureau, David Sheahan, says they've found people on social media while driving:
