Gardai warn public not to drink and drive this weekend

Gardai will be out in force this bank holiday weekend and are appealing to people not to drink and drive, slow down and wear seatbelts.
There will be checkpoints around the City and County as well as extra GoSafe vehicles on the roads.
The Cork City Marathon, Red Bull Soap Box race and the Ocean to City Festival are all taking place this weekend, with huge volumes expected in the city.
The Guards are appealing for motorists and other road users to remain vigilant.
Speaking to RedFM News Inspector Finbarr O'Sullivan says the Gardai are aiming for a fatal accident free weekend:
