Glen locals "disappointed" after Bus Eireann meeting
Residents of the Glen say they're "bitterly disappointed" following talks with Bus Eireann today in an effort to have the number 12 bus route returned... Bus Eireann told the residents' delegation that it hopes to make one change to the new timetable which would see the 6pm bus from Cork city to Carrignavar diverted through the Glen. However residents now plan to escalate their campaign with a futher protest planned for Thursday morning outside Capwell Bus Eireann axed the service at the end of August as part of a restructuring plan.
