Glenveagh Properties Host Events For Construction Safety Week At Blackrock Development
Glenveagh Properties are hosting a number of events here Leeside at their new development, Blackrock Villas, which comprises of large three, four and five bedroom family homes.
Construction worker fatalities have almost halved since 2015.
That's according to the Health and Safety Authority who say there's also been a reduction in non-fatal accidents over the same period.
The figures have been released as part of Construction Safety Week which is underway and Glenveagh Properties are hosting a number of events here Leeside at their new development, Blackrock Villas, which comprises of large three, four and five bedroom family homes.
The construction company say a sharp focus is on Cork as the economy grows and as the city gains in attractiveness for buyers with various infrastructural developments set to come on stream.
Speaking to RedFM News Kevin Smyth Health & Safety Officer at Glenveagh Properties says safety is paramount for them as they expand their presence in Cork:
