Golden Discs is to open a new store in the former HMV premises on Patrick Street in the city centre 18 new jobs are to be created when the new branch, which is the biggest of the 15 Golden Discs stores in Ireland, opens its doors on Friday Management at the firm say their Cork stores have always been strong performers, often beating the rest of the country and they remain hopeful that this new store will also perform well
