Government To Announce Major Commemorations Programme Will Take Place In Cork In 2020
The national commemorations will mark significant events that occurred a century ago, including the deaths of two Lord Mayors and the burning and rebuilding of Cork City.
The programme will include a State commemoration, a major community participation event and a series of civic gatherings including exhibitions and supports for communities and schools.
