Government To Clampdown On Smoking

The government is set to introduce new legislation and initiatives this morning to discourage young people from starting to smoke. The Minister for Health Dr. James Reilly will launch the 'Tobacco Free Ireland' document which will include up to 60 recommendations. It's hoped the scheme will lead to an overall generation of young people who don't smoke by 2025. Press the play button above to hear Dr. Ross Morgan, from ASH Ireland, welcome the introduction of the scheme.
