Government to support businesses hit by Brexit

The government has secured the funds for a €300m loan scheme to help businesses hit by Brexit.

Loans of between 25,000 and 1.5 million euro will be available to companies with less than 500 employees.

A government commissioned study shows that just 16 per cent of SMEs have a contingency plan for Brexit.

Business Minister Heather Humphreys says it's important they begin to plan for the fallout.
