GPs Say The Way The HSE Validates Waiting Lists Needs To Change
The HSE routinely writes to patients who are waiting on appointments to see if they still need to be seen
But if a patient doesn't respond within 10 days, they could be crossed off the list.
The National Association of General Practitioners wants the HSE to follow up with calls or emails.
Chairman Dr Andrew Jordan says the process isn't working.
