Greenway Extension Funding Granted For Cork Harbour
€1 million euro has been granted to fund the Cork Harbour Greenway extension.
The County Council received the funding under the 2017 Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme.
The project proposes to extend existing greenway facilities by developing a link connecting Glenbrook to Carrigaline and Crosshaven.
12 other projects across Cork benefited from the scheme, each receiving funding of between €5,000 and €10,000.
Speaking to RedFM News County Mayor Cllr Declan Hurley welcomed the funding award as a postivie investment:
