Road Closures

Saturday 19^th and Sunday 20^th March from 09.00 to 19.00

•          Tuckey Street

Thursday 17^th March from 07:00 to 16:00 (Note roads will open when safe to allow access, which could be in advance of advertised time)

•          Copley Street (the exception being Cotter Street which will remain open)
•          Connell Street
•          Lapp’s Quay

Thursday 17^th March from 10:30 to 16:00 (Note roads will open when safe to allow access, which could be in advance of advertised time)

•          Parnell Bridge
•          Union Quay
•          Anglesea Street filter lane (West lane) from Union Quay/Parnell Bridge diverted to intersect with East lane

Thursday 17^th March from 11:15 to 15:00pm (Note, roads will open when safe to allow access, which could be in advance of advertised time)

•          Terence McSweeney Quay
•          Anglesea Street

Thursday 17^th March from 11:15 to 17:30 (Note, roads will open when safe to allow access, which could be in advance of advertised time)

•          Parnell Place (Access remains for Bus Eireann Buses from Oliver Plunkett Street Lower)
•          South Mall
•          Grand Parade
•          Saint Patrick’s Street
•          Merchants Quay
•          Lavitt’s Quay East from Christy Ring Bridge to Saint Patrick’s Bridge
•          Anderson’s Quay from Brian Boru Bridge to Merchant’s Quay

In addition, the following main streets will be directly affected and will be closed from 11.15am

•          Parliament Street
•          Parliament Bridge
•          Washington Street between South Main Street and Grand Parade
•          Parnell Place (Partially  open to Bus Eireann traffic)
•          Fr Matthew Quay
•          Morrison’s Quay
•          Half Moon St
•          Academy St
•          Drawbridge St
•          Oliver Plunkett Street

Traffic diversions will be put in place to facilitate these road closures, as follows:

•          South Terrace / George’s Quay – traffic will be diverted via Sullivan’s Quay & Frenche’s Quay to either Greenmount or onto Washington Street and Bachelor’s Quay
•          Lavitt’s Quay – traffic will be diverted across Christy Ring Bridge
•          No public traffic access to Lapps Quay

Parking will be removed from the following areas on the following days and times

Wednesday  16^th March at 7:00 to 16.00 on Thursday 17^th March:

Parking removed from:

•          Copley St at area adjacent to former Brooks Haughton Building.

Wednesday  16^th March at 17:00 to 16.00 on Thursday 17^th March:

Parking removed from:

•          Anglesea Street (from Union Quay to Copley Street Junction)
•          Copley Street (opposite to Brooks Haughton building)
•          Lapps Quay

Wednesday  16^th March at 20:00 to 17:30 on Thursday 17^th March:

Parking removed from:

•          Saint Patrick’s St
•          Emmet Place
•          Academy St
•          South Mall
•          Grand Parade
•          Parnell Place
•          Union Quay

On street parking will be available as normal in other parts of the city. Off street parking in the multi-storey car parks on Eglinton Street, Paul Street, Carrol’s Quay and North Main Street will also be available as normal.
