Heroin seized in Cork city
Nearly €4,000 of suspected heroin was seized in the city yesterday.
Gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Unit, assisted by the Armed Support Unit, executed a search warrant at a house on the Lower Glanmire Road at around 4.30pm where they seized the drugs and arrested two men
The two men in their 30's are being detained for questioning at Gurranabraher and Mayfield Garda Stations
All of the suspected drugs will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
