High volume of passengers expected to pass through Cork Airport this weekend

Cork Airport says it expects over 50,000 passengers to travel through the terminal this June Bank Holiday weekend.

The figure is a 4% increase on last years passenger numbers and is set to be the busiest weekend at the airport so far this year

The weekend will also see the start of seven summer season routes to destinations across France, Spain and Italy.

The airport is advising passengers intending to travel this weekend to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes prior to their flight to avoid any unnecessary delays.
