Increase in points for high demand Degree courses.
Points needed for high demand degree courses look set to rise again this year as nearly 700 students more than last year gained over 450 points in their Leaving Certificate.
Engineering and Technology Courses are those most likely to be affected, as these have more students seeking entry through the Central Applications Office than in previous years.
