HMV Could Face Investigation
An investigation could be launched to find out if HMV sold gift vouchers knowing it was on the verge of closure. Thousands of customers have been left with vouchers that they can't spend, after the music chain was placed into receivership. The retailer has one outlet here in Cork - on Patrick's Street. The Enterprise Minister, Richard Bruton, says if HMV knew it was in trouble, it shouldn't have continued to sell vouchers.
