HMV Staff Stage Sit-Ins
Staff at two HMV stores in Limerick have staged sit-in protests overnight over fears that their wages will not be paid. The retailer's Irish operations went into receivership yesterday - meaning 16 stores across Ireland are to temporarily close. The company has one outlet here in Cork, on Patrick's Street. An administrator was appointed to the parent company of HMV in the UK on Monday.
